What exactly is meant by the word ‘integral’?
For our studio, the concept of ‘integral’ plays a key role. In our context, it means ‘combining different techniques and styles to achieve the greatest possible effect’
How did the idea for this type of massage actually come about?
In fact, this idea arose out of dissatisfaction with the results of single-technique treatments. For example, classical, anti-cellulite, lymphatic drainage and other single-technique treatments do work, but the results take too long to appear and, in some cases, are not effective enough. And every person’s body, with its tense muscles, postural problems, misalignments, high or low blood pressure, and so on, presents a UNIQUE PICTURE and a SPECIFIC CHALLENGE that must be PROFESSIONALLY SOLVED, just like a game of chess! And over many years of practising with patients, I have seen and felt how the body reacts and changes during a massage, how it requires different types of stimulation during a session, rather than just one type of massage. Having started to experiment
And over many years of working with patients, I have seen and felt how the body reacts and changes during a massage, and how it requires different types of stimulation during a session, rather than just one type of massage. Once I started experimenting, I achieved simply amazing results: not only did the effectiveness of the treatments increase, but as an added bonus, the number of sessions required for the patient’s body to recover was reduced!
And so the Integral Style of massage was born, forming the basis of our treatment programmes! The Integral Style is founded on knowledge of physiology, kinesiology and the biomechanics of the human body, translated into the language of massage. I have passed on this unique expertise and style to our therapists.
Each of us is not only fully proficient in all types of massage techniques, but, most importantly, is able to ‘read the body’ and apply the specific technique required for each area and each specific need at that precise moment. Becoming such a specialist requires years of dedicated self-improvement.
We don’t serve fast food-style massage treatments; we won’t be selling you anti-cellulite potatoes, lymphatic drainage carrots or classic onions. Our ‘master chefs of massage’ will prepare a unique, exquisite dish, tailored exclusively to your body’s needs!
Yes, there aren’t many of us, and we can’t save thousands, but perhaps you’ll be the lucky one we focus our attention on.
